Do Pokémon Violet and Scarlet have time travel?

Since the original reveal of Pokémon Violet and Scarlet, there has been a definite theme of time, specifically past and future. This is seen in both the Legendary Pokémon Design and Professor Design with a prehistoric and futuristic look. This has led many players to speculate that Pokémon Violet and Scarlet will feature time travel.

But that may not be what the players think. According to renowned Pokémon leader Centro LEAKS, players won't be able to travel through time, but Pokémon will be able to. It certainly fits with the theme of the legendary box art characters, Corydon and Miraydon, whose designs are in keeping with the aesthetics of the past and the future. There, the designs and titles support the idea of time travel, it's just a question of who travels through time.

However, this information is from a leak and cannot be fully trusted as it is just speculation. Until official news is released, it is unknown if Pokémon Violet and Scarlet actually have time travel. This would be a unique feature of the series and bring some fresh mechanics to the title if it were true.
