Latias and Latios come back to Pokémon Go for a special event Week

The Pokémon Eon of Rubis and sapphire (soar) in _Pokemon Go; Latias and Latios return to raids in a new Special Raid Weekend.

From January 24th, at 1 pm, the Normal Time of the Pacific, Latias and Latios will begin to appear in five-star raids. Latias and Latios are both psychic and dragon pokemon, which means they are weak against ghosts, darkness, fairies, insects and other Dragon-type pokémon. The Pokémon Go Blog suggests using Pokémon like Rayquaza, Dialga, Tyranocif, Togekiss and Mammochon against them when the players meet them.

The event is currently scheduled to end on January 27, at 13 hours pst.

Latias and Latios are a pair of legendary pokemon that have been introduced into Gen. III. They have a similar appearance, their main difference being their colors and sex. Latias is red and female, while Latios is blue and male. They are nicknamed the duo eon by the fans because they are both called the Pokémon Eon, which refers to the term aeon.
