Cliff is one of the three leaders of the Go Rocket team in pokémon Go. You can find it by retrieving mysterious components of Team Go Grunts on captured pokestops. When you have six, you can build a rocket radar to locate a leader hiding place.
Cliff has a new range of Pokémon to use each month. You will not have trouble disassembling it and you will want to focus on using durable Pokémon to respond to its exceptional collection.
First Pokémon
The first Pokémon Cliff used against you is pinsir a bug-type pokémon. Pinsir is a pretty difficult first challenge, so you must be careful in your approach. Pinsir is weak for the fire types, theft and rock, so you may want to bring a durable and heavy Pokémon to fight it. Some great choices include Charizard, molts, Scyther, Gigalith, Golem, Armaldo, Togekiss or Darmanitan.
Second Pokémon
The next choice is a launch between three options.
- OMASTAR a type of rock and water
- Marowak a type of soil
- Electivire An electrical type
Your best option would probably choose a robust Grass Pokémon for this meeting. Although it is not low for grass, a type of grass could resist reliably with their attacks and cause serious damage to Marowak and Omastar because they are both weak to this type. For a type of grass, you can use Leafeon, Torterra, Venusaur, Exeggutor, Cacturne or Carnivine.
Any electric or water type Pokémon would be too important because if Cliff has electivise, you could find yourself stuck fairly quickly. A GRAS type remains a secure value with a series of reliable attacks capable of damaging one of these options.
Third Pokémon
Like the second choice of Cliff, his third is a mix of three options.
* Swampert a type of water and soil
* Telor will a grass and floor type
* Tyranitar a Rock and Dark type
The best option would be another type Grass against this trio. A grass type could severely damage tyranitar and Swampert if Cliff uses them. It would not do significant damage against Tortra, but it would be an excellent choice with which to fight during this commitment. You will be able to use one of the options mentioned above for the second choice of Cliff.
You will want to avoid electrical, fire or rocky pokemon during this final fight. You will find that these Pokémon can eliminate them quickly and you will quickly find yourself reliable team to withstand cliff attacks. If you need to vary your approach for Pokémon, you can still use a type of bug, like Heracross, Scizor, Escavalier, or Armaldo against this trio. Swampert will not be weak, but Torterra and Tyranitar will feel it.
You will want a solid range of Pokémon to face Cliff. Although you can focus on damage outside its list, you will find much more useful to come to combat, ready to have an endurance commitment. You want to withstand attacks, while inflicting a reasonable degree of damage to Cliff alignment. Make sure you are ready for the long term.
