It is one of the most veteran events in the videogame industry and an unavoidable appointment for any fan of action games. The Quakecon 2021 is just around the corner and after making it known its calendar of activities, there is more desire to discover what novelties you are between hands ID Software and Bethesda. Especially after mentioning an quake revitalized that has quickly disappeared from the calendar.
DIMENSION OF THE PAST is the tribute to Quake de Machinegames PC Gamer noticed the existence of a chat starring the founder and president of machininggames , authors of the last games of the Wolfenstein saga or the expected New Indiana Jones, about Quake's legacy. During the talk, it reads the description already disappeared, the additional content with which Machine Games has contributed to this revitalized edition.
Obviously this makes us think that there will be a new Quake announcement during the event, although revitalized does not have to mean a remake. It is important to remember that just a few years ago the ID Software itself launched a new version of the legendary Doom in consoles with additional content created by the fans themselves over the years. This possible new version of Quake could follow the same path, with some graphic improvements and new content, this time designed by Machine Games.
Precisely Machine Games already gave us in the past an additional chapter for the mythical Quake, which was hidden in Wolfenstein: The Old Blood. He answered the name Dimension of the Past, and it was a tribute to the saga on the occasion of his 20th anniversary. So this revitalized version could be limited to including only this extra and little more content. As you see, there are many unknown to solve although Fortunate La Quakecon 2021 is celebrated next week, from August 19 to 21, so we will not have to wait long to get out of doubt.
